Energy-saving oil-immersed type · Substations & transmission systems
Power transformers are mainly used in substations, industrial and mining enterprises, and transmission & distribution systems as equipment for electric energy transmission and voltage level conversion, supplying power to downstream electrical equipment. Their performance parameters are specified by the corresponding national standards.
The power transformer is the backbone of the electric power grid: it steps voltage up for economical long-distance transmission and steps it down for safe distribution to end users. Boyuan's energy-saving power transformer series adopts a core of high-permeability cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel with fully mitered joints, and windings of oxygen-free copper, to reduce both no-load loss and load loss over the whole service life of the unit — lowering the total cost of ownership for utilities and industrial users.
